Kirklees Council have five HWRC sites for residents across their region. Whether you call them tips, dumps or by their full title, Household Waste Recycling Centres, Dewsbury is one of those five locations.
Below, you’ll find more information about the Dewsbury tip on Weaving Lane, and how Kirklees residents can use them or find the other sites if needed.
Finding The Weaving Lane HWRC
The Weaving Lane tip is to the south west of the centre of Dewsbury. As you head out of town on the A644 in the direction of Huddersfield, take a left down Thornhill Road before you reach the Shepherd’s Boy pub on your left. Follow the S-bend and go under the railway bridge at the bottom. Take a right at the roundabout onto Weaving Lane, and enter the HWRC site at the end, turning right after the gates for the household waste area.
