Kirklees Council have five HWRC sites for residents across their region. Whether you call them tips, dumps or by their full title, Household Waste Recycling Centres, Birstall is one of those five locations.
Below, you’ll find more information about the Birstall tip on Nab Lane, and how Kirklees residents can use them or find the other sites if needed.
Finding The Nab Lane HWRC
To reach the Birstall tip, head out of Birstall on the A62 Gelderd Road from Leeds Road. Just after the Pheasant pub, turn right into Pheasant Drive. Just after the Volvo outlet, turn left into Nab Lane. It’s a very narrow road, that appears to be a dead end, but you’ll find the dump at the end of the lane.
